MY EXPERIENCE
Throughout my more than 27-year career as a financial advisor, one investment principle has held steady with me: common sense. Although I perform appropriate due diligence on investments that I propose to clients, I focus primarily on keeping the wealth management and investment process as simple as possible. This includes incorporating risk management and tax-advantaged investment strategies, diversification, time in the market instead of timing the market, index-based investments, and a disciplined approach. Employing these time-tested strategies has helped my clients in navigating the markets – and their lives.
I began my investment industry career in 1996 and joined Stifel in 2015. Prior to Stifel, I worked at firms such as Wells Fargo Advisors and M.L. Stern & Co. I hold Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
Outside of the office, I have volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Boys and Girls Club of South County, Escondido Food Bank, and United Way of San Diego. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, mountain biking, and golfing. While my wealth management practice is important, my family will always be my number one priority. I have been married to my wife for 32 years and have two children, Briana and Jake.
